What is Megan Mullally planning to do know that her days in Young Frankenstein are over?
Q. Megan Mullally seems to be a great person and she is probably just about my favorite actress. I never got to see her as Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein on broadway but the clips online showed her wonderful performance. Now that she is no longer a member of that broadway show, I was just wondering if anyone knew what her next project was going to be. Thanks so much!

A. I saw her performance in Young Frankenstein, she is hilarious and sooo good. Right now she is filming for a new ABC show called Bad Mother's Handbook which will premiere in the fall. "Bad Mother's Handbook" is based on the 2006 novel of the same title by Kate Long. Megan's co-stars in the series are Alicia Silverstone and Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development). The sitcom follows three generations of women who raise their families in unconventional ways.

A. Young Frankenstien, Mel Brooks' movie differs from the original as it portrays not the Victor Frankenstein of Mary Shelly's story, but his grandson. It is simply based off of Ms. Shelly's work and Hollywood's portrayal of Frankenstein's monster, while being basically the same, will differ depending on the vision of the director.

A. Not sure when her last day is, but she is going into "Shrek the Musical" rehearsals this summer, as the show opens in Seattle mid August. As far as another show to see- check out Chicago (my favorite), Spring Awakening, or August Osage County (straight play, not a musical).

It is a show you absolutely must see in your lifetime. The numbers in it are so full of magic and inspiration, the energy level is through the roof. Young Frankenstein is Mel Brooks, so of course it's going to be one of the funniest musicals on Broadway! It had really amazing choreography. I worked with one of the choreographers, [there are two], and he was so full of energy, and it really showed in the production. There are some great singers with unique voices. There are a lot of really cool special effects and the songs are very well arranged. It truly depends on what style of musical… [cont.]
