How should I go about starting a small wrestling promotion?
Q. I'm interested in starting a small wrestling promotion with my friends. We figure we can build up a small audience and web-cast it to grow in popularity. Also, the biggest problem would be a location we could hold our events. Any advice on how to obtain the equipment, the costs, and how to solve the location problem?

A. Most towns have a civic center. You can rent these rooms weekly, monthly, or whatever you want. It is relay not that expensive! Only thing is contracts and waivers for your superstars. Equipment can be bought in on whole Package. Ring Ropes, only problem with that is setting it up. It will be a pretty hefty cost im not going to lie. Can an employer in California postpone promotion due to three weeks of emergency medical leave?
Q. My sister had emergency surgery (one of her ovaries died and had to be removed) and returned to work today to be told that she can't be considered for promotion for three months due to the fact she was on disability leave for the past three weeks. She has been passed over for promotion for the past year although she has been performing the duties of manager for the past year and having had customers call the district manager and commending her stellar performance and recommendation to be manager. Is it legal to deny her the ability to be promoted due to her medical leave? She has had a stellar work record as well as an excellent attendance record.

A. She needs to talk to an HR attorney. It appears they are retaliating against her for going out on disability (this is not allowed).

What is the best way to get the word out about a website promotion?
Q. I own an auction website but it has very few members an absolutely no auctions running. There are people looking at it but nobody is signing up because there aren't any listings. And nobody is posting auctions because there are very few members. So I decided to do a promotion where if your auction(s) don't make a profit, you get your listing fees back. What is the best way to get the word out about the promotion?
